  • Only used to determine if you said the correct word during gameplay
  • Never recorded or saved

1.2 In-App Purchase Information

When you make a purchase through the App Store:

  • Apple processes all payment information
  • We only receive confirmation of your purchase status
  • We do not have access to your payment details

Our app uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display advertisements:

2. Description of Service

BeatSpeak is a rhythm-based word challenge game that:

  • Requires users to say words in sync with a beat
  • Uses speech recognition technology for gameplay
  • Offers in-app purchases to remove advertisements
  • Provides multiple difficulty levels and categories

3. Age Requirements

BeatSpeak is designed for users aged 12 and above. Users under 13 should have parental supervision when using the app.

4. Permissions and Requirements

To use BeatSpeak, you must:

  • Grant microphone access for speech recognition
  • Grant speech recognition permissions
  • Have a compatible iOS device (iOS 17.0 or later)
  • Have an active internet connection for advertisements (unless Premium is purchased)

5. In-App Purchases

BeatSpeak offers a Premium in-app purchase:

  • Product: Premium - Remove Ads
  • Type: Non-Consumable (one-time purchase)
  • Price: As displayed in the App Store
  • Benefits: Removes all advertisements permanently
  • Refunds: Subject to Apple's refund policy

All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. We do not handle payment information directly.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the app
  • Interfere with the app's functionality
  • Use automated systems to interact with the app
  • Share your Premium purchase with others

7. Intellectual Property

BeatSpeak and all its content, including but not limited to:

  • Design, graphics, and user interface
  • Game mechanics and features
  • Code and software
  • Trademarks and logos

are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without our permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

BeatSpeak is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Warranties of merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Accuracy or reliability of results

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data or profits
  • Service interruptions or errors
  • Issues arising from third-party services (Apple, Google)

10. Third-Party Services

BeatSpeak uses third-party services:

  • Apple App Store: For app distribution and in-app purchases
  • Google Mobile Ads: For displaying advertisements
  • Apple Speech Recognition: For voice processing

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and conditions.

11. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to:

12. Termination

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of BeatSpeak shall be resolved through:

  • Good faith negotiations first

  • Binding arbitration as a last resort

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding BeatSpeak and supersede all prior agreements.

18. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
